Trader Joe’s rose quickly to fame in the last decade as the hip new place for all you kitchy grocery needs. Becoming a staple quickly for their highly recognizable branding and unique snack items, popularizing for their cheap wine, and solidifying themselves as a weekly stop for many with their overall great selection of traditional grocery items.
In January of this year, they released their 16th Annual Customer Choice Awards, highlighting which products customers loved most. Here are their winners!
#1 Overall: Chili & Lime Flavored Rolled Corn Tortilla Chips
Their signature, taki-adjacent, spicy bite has taken over the internet, and consequently, cabinets everywhere. They’re zesty, refreshing and tangy – perfect for any occasion.

#1 New: Cashel Blue Cheese Irish Potato Chips (Limited)
A new holiday favorite stacked up this past year, winning the title of Top New Item. A crazy spin on a classic, with comforting, familiar flavors, will thankfully be back at the turn of the year.

A cozy fall classic. We all know her, we all love her, we’re all happy to see her come out on top. Crisp and refreshing, but with cinnamon and apple notes inactivate of the soundtrack to Gilmore Girls without a doubt.

The people spoke – and for the last two years they have enjoyed the classics. With the reign of charcuterie who can blame us? A goat cheese that’s fresh and reliable, creamy and decadent? There was no debate.

#1 Produce: Teeny Tiny Avocados
The smallest are yet again the mightiest. TJ’S Teeny Tiny Avocados are the best example of such a feat, four years running. Look at them – they’re so cute!

#1 Appetizer: Creamy Spinach & Artichoke Dip
Truly the most versatile staple to have for anyone from hosts to binge watchers. Pairs well with crackers, bread, even on burgers. And vegetables? Doesn’t get any better.

#1 Breakfast & Brunch: Hashbrowns
After going viral online, these tasty, breakfast grabs were nearly impossible to find in store anymore. They’re truly just too good not to have a main and backup stock of. However you heat them – they took the title for the second time for good reason.

#1 Bath, Body & Home: Brazil Nut Body Butter (Limited)
An underdog, some may say, is the grocery stores personal care section. The Brazil Nut Body Butter is the shining example of why you shouldn’t overlook non food products. We absolutely can not get enough of the salted caramel and pistachio dream, and hope it gets a chance to come back soon.
Runners up included Daily Facial Sunscreen SPF 40, Coconut Body Butter, Leave In Conditioner, and Lavender Spray Hand Sanitizer.
